my favorite project this semester was the skeleton that we had to make up. we had to chosse a cartoon character and imagine the inside of it. i loved the way it came out. i loved drawing the bones and using my imagination. this helped me learn how to draw better.
this project was the most i learned from. i learned how to draw and use vanishing points also how to use a ruler. vanishing points were easy to understand i cought on quickly, very easy. loved how we used water coloers and colored pencils to color the picture. this was the most jam packed picture with skills that you needed to use like coloring, grasping and understanding the concept of vanishing points, also how to be percise.
before this project we had to do a self portrait of your partner that was choosen at random. we had to color in the shades on their faces and draw the face its self. in the picture above we as group had to draw an interacting picture for others to enjoy and have fun. this conects to the self portraits because in the interacting pictur we had to use high lights and low lights. like the self portrait i learned how to make the face seem 3D with its shades and shadows on the person.
i feel as if the anamorphosis project was something we didnt need to learn. it was okay but i didnt like it where we had to redraw with the graph to help us. this only taught how to draw which we already know how too. as well in other projects we had to be more precisive on where the picture was and where to draw it.
i see this picture as a reflection of myself. i love the moon and the winter. i also like horses and then i turned it into a unicorn which also like unicorns. my favorite color is midnight blue i really conected with painting the sky i fell in love with the background i didnt want to paint over it, but i had too. i also love the clouds above the mountains where it has a touch of black in it. the moon could have used some work but this painting is like my life im alone with all my favorite things and horses are graceful. just like the horse i see myself as a graceful dancer and how i losse myself in the music. i love this painting because i can loose myself in this painting.
